Charles & Vicki:
Are Living Proof
Small changes over time really do add up. Over the past two years Charles and Vicki have embraced Cianbro’s Healthy Lifestyles Program with a positive attitude and a commitment that has really paid off. By working with OMC’s Health Coaches and making some modest changes in their diet and exercise routine, both have managed to turn their health risk around. Charles lost 35 pounds and has brought his cholesterol down to normal. His pant size is now size 38 instead of the size 42 that he has been. That is something his hasn’t see since high school. Likewise, Vicky has lost weight and dropped some dress sizes. But most importantly, she has been able to come off her diabetes medication! Cianbro’s Healthy Lifestyles Program has really helped them both to stay on track and like Charles says, “we sure do feel a lot better.”

“The program came along at a good time for use because, like a lot of people our age, it caught us at a point in life when we were just cruising a long, pretty content, but becoming more and more like couch potatoes. It made us stop and think about where we are headed and where we want to make changes. The program really helps to make a person cognizant of what they are doing - in terms of their health. I think that when I say something out loud it makes a difference. It creates more awareness for me and gives me a desire to change. When I know I’m getting a phone call from OMC’s Health Coaches I want to have made an improvement. We like the idea of making small changes over time. I’ve lost weight and exercise more and feel really motivated to continue making changes.
