Wellness Works assesses the health risk behavior status of individual participants, educates participants as to the implications of these at risk health behaviors, and motivates participants toward health behavior change. Below are some of the services we offer:

Cholesterol and Blood Pressure Screenings
On site screenings of these two major health risk factors are arranged to meet the work schedules of your employees.

Health Risk Assessments
Through the Wellness Tracking System (WTS) individualized clinical assessments of blood pressure, cholesterol, physical fitness and lifestyle risk factors are summarized into a wellness profile. The computerized reports give employees an overview of their current health status and recommendations for behavioral change. Confidential reports are produced to summarize and identify the overall health status of employees.

Health Promotion
Health promotion at OMC stresses the development of the intrinsic motivation necessary for successful health behavior change. We focus on educating participants as to the significance of their health risk behaviors, giving participants the tools & information to help them change those behaviors and become wise health care consumers while working with your company to promote an environment that will sustain these behavior changes.

Lifestyle Education Workshops – Lunch and Learns
Interactive programs are designed to educate employees on a variety of health related topics such as tobacco use, nutrition and fitness. It's important to give employees the sense that the wellness program is a permanent and important part of the organization, not a passing fad. Graduate Health Educators tailor educational programs to your population’s needs.

Program Design and Technical Assistance
OMC’s experienced staff will assist you in planning for a comprehensive wellness program at your worksite. We will provide you with the technological assistance to track employee’s progress and give you a clearer picture of the progress of your employees’ health risk status over time.
